Mayor Brian Williams Endorses Chief Deputy Brooke Weaver For Hamilton County Clerk

East Ridge Mayor Brian Williams announced his endorsement today of Chief Deputy Brooke Weaver for Hamilton County Clerk.
Mayor Williams praised Chief Deputy Weaver’s nearly two decades of service in the County Clerk’s Office and said her experience makes her uniquely prepared to lead the county’s busiest office.
“Brooke has worked her way up to chief deputy county clerk, giving her unmatched, day-one readiness to lead the county’s busiest office,” said. Mayor Williams. “Mrs. Weaver currently oversees 57 employees, manages more than $60 million in annual revenues, and has helped return millions in excess fees to the county. Under her leadership, the office has received a clean audit every year, reflecting her commitment to accountability and fiscal responsibility. She is committed to continuing partnerships with the Department of Safety and building on the office’s fleet relationships, which generate millions in revenue for the county and state.”

“I am honored to have the endorsement of Mayor Williams,” said Chief Deputy Weaver. “I lived in East Ridge for 15 years, and had firsthand experience witnessing him and his team continue to grow East Ridge. I greatly respect his leadership, dedication and commitment to the citizens of East Ridge. I look forward to working alongside him as your next county clerk.”
Mayor Williams added, “In addition to her experience, she is highly qualified and community-minded, Chief Deputy Weaver is a certified public administrator, certified county finance officer and an active civic leader. Her experience, integrity and focus on service have also earned her the support of outgoing County Clerk Bill Knowles and Hamilton County Sheriff Austin Garrett.”
